Groups Camping allows you to arrive individually and camp together, turn up when you want and rest assured that your pitch is reserved for the duration of the festival in Red Campsite. Select your optional add-ons in the next stage of the booking process to create your ideal space for ease and comfort. Groups Camping is an optional upgrade, designed to make your festival experience easier and more enjoyable, arrive to a reserved pitch and choose from sleeping bags, airbeds, lanterns, BBQ's, picnic benches and awnings to build the pitch of dreams. At Groups Camping you can stay with as many people as you want, as long as you all remain within the allocated dimensions marked out on the grass.
Groups Camping pitch includes: - Designated pitch for you and your group - Dedicated check in and reception - Optional add-ons, including awnings, picnic benches and airbeds, which will be ready in your pitch on arrival Please note: - Tents are not included, you will need to bring your own. Please ensure you know the dimensions of your tents and make sure they will fit into the pitch you have booked, along with any addons. - Festival tickets and tents are not included in Group Camping packages and must be purchased separately. - Price is per pitch, not per person. Unless otherwise stated, Group Camping will be located in standard/general campsites, with standard camping facilities. - Groups Camping will be located in Red Campsite.

Download Festival: On-site parking is available plus we have disabled customer parking area is located at the front of the West car park and available on a first come first served basis. Parking is free of charge for blue badge holders. Access to the arena from the car park and campsite entrance is via a tarmac road. From the front of the West Car Park it is approximately 0.5 miles to the arena entrance (this does depend on where you park within the car park). If you are camping in the disabled customer campsite, cars can be parked next to tents if required, though we are unable to offer this to everyone due to restrictions on space. All cars can be parked in the disabled customer car park.

Download Festival: All disabled customers are welcome at Download, but as it is a greenfield site there are steep stony hilly sections of the site, meaning that sometimes access across the site is not that easy. Stewards however, will be around to assist. Download Festival: Under 5s (ages 0-4 years) are allowed for free - no child ticket required, but must be accompanied by a ticket holding adult. 5-12 years olds must be accompanied by a ticket holding adult and each child will require a Child Ticket. 13-15 must purchase an ADULT ticket and be accompanied by a parent / guardian over 18.
