Ron Sexsmith Band Hangover Terrace TourTuesday, October 28th, 2025 at The Park Theatre Ron Sexsmith Band Hangover Terrace TourTickets $35 in advance Ron Sexsmith is one of Canadas most beloved and critically acclaimed singer-songwriters. Born in St. Catharines, Ontario, his love of music was sparked early, inspired by the sounds of his mothers record collection and artists like Buddy Holly and Elton John. By the age of fourteen, he was playing guitar, and by twenty-one, after becoming a father, he began writing the deeply personal songs that would shape his career. After moving to Toronto in the late 80s, Ron juggled courier work by day and club gigs by night. He released his first full-length album, Grand Opera Lane, in 1991. Though overlooked at home, it caught the attention of music insiders in Los Angeles, leading to a publishing deal and eventually a recording contract with Interscope Records. His self-titled major-label debut in 1995, produced by Mitchell Froom, was a quiet triumph, earning praise from critics and the admiration of Elvis Costello, who helped shine a spotlight on Rons unique voice.Since then, Ron has become a songwriters songwriter, revered by legends like Paul McCartney, Elton John, Leonard Cohen, and John Prine. His music, a heartfelt blend of pop, folk, and roots, has been covered by artists as diverse as Rod Stewart, Emmylou Harris, Feist, and Michael Bubl. Hes toured the world, shared stages with icons such as Elvis Costello, Sarah McLachlan, and Coldplay, and performed in hallowed venues like Massey Hall, Royal Albert Hall, and Carnegie Hall.In addition to his music, Ron authored the whimsical novel Deer Life, and in 2025, he will make his theatrical composing debut with the Stratford Festivals production of As You Like It.Still writing, still performing, and still inspiring fans and fellow musicians alike, Ron Sexsmith continues to shape the soundtrack of our lives: one beautifully crafted song at a time.Your photo ID is your ticket; have it ready at the door on the event night. For more info, visit The Park Theatre FAQ.Ticket Pickup: Collect your e-tickets at the ticket window at door time on show night.
