The Music Without Borders Festival 2025 and the Iraqi Festival of Toronto (presented by the Iraqi Canadian Society) proudly present the world-renowned oud virtuoso Naseer Shamma. A UNESCO Artist for Peace and one of the most influential figures in Arabic music, Shamma has elevated Arabic instrumental music to international acclaim. On October 11 in Mississauga, he will be joined by an 8-member ensemble of the Toronto Arab Orchestra, under the direction of conductor Gaby Al Botros.
Meadowvale Theatre is a performing arts facility and community cultural hub. Recently re-opened after undergoing renovations, audiences will be welcomed back to a revitalized space, where they can once again enjoy live performances and events.
