From Brentford to the world - the UK’s most notorious pirate radio crew are bringing their sound Down Under, ready to make every MC quiver.

Born from the rawest corners of UK garage, Kurupt FM have been flying the flag for the real sound of the underground since day dot. This New Year’s period, they’re taking that signal all the way from Brentford to Australia and New Zealand for the very first time.

MC Grindah, station founder and self-declared king of lyrical warfare, leads the charge, with DJ Beats holding down the decks and Steves doing whatever Steves does best - all running at full signal strength.

What began as a backroom pirate frequency has since exploded into a global movement. Their UK Top 10 debut album, The Greatest Hits: Part 1, features heavyweights like Craig David, Big Narstie, and D Double E. Add their feature-length film Big In Japan and the BAFTA-winning cult series People Just Do Nothing, and you’ve got a radio station turned international phenomenon.

Still pushing culture and representing the purest form of garage, the baddest MCs in the galaxy are heading to Melbourne, Sydney and Perth. The tour also includes appearances at New Zealand festivals Rhythm & Alp, Famous Last Words, and The Coro Classic.
