John Splithoff is a Chicago-born, LA-based singer/songwriter known for his soulful, genre-blending sound. After a decade in New York City, where his breakout single 'Sing to You' became a Top 10 Adult Contemporary hit, he hit a personal and creative crossroads. Touring with acts like Andy Grammer and Toro y Moi, recording through the pandemic, and moving cross-country all inspired his new album, Far From Here. The project reflects a time of major change, marriage, relocation, and shifting relationships and showcases Splithoff's emotional depth and sonic range. Influenced by artists from Marvin Gaye and Sade to The War on Drugs and Clairo, his sound bridges the classic and contemporary. Now a sought-after collaborator, he,s worked with Sting, Chris Botti, and David Foster, continuing to evolve as a performer and writer.
