Dave Clancy releases his second album, Live Our Own Dream on April 25th. Building on his debut album The Path (2020), Dave continues to craft deeply resonant folk music, blending rich storytelling with evocative melodies. Dave is a versatile musician whose songs and finger-style guitar playing combine the acoustic folk of Nick Drake while maintaining strong links to the Irish folk tradition. Adding to the guitar and vocal foundation of the songs Dave uses his multi-instrumental skills adding piano, organ, synth and pedal steel guitar. Guest musicians include Eoin Wynne (The Half Room) on (vocals, banjo and guitar), Conor McCreanor (Foy Vance, Gretchen Peters ) on bass, Eamon Murray (Beoga) on drums, Fergal Scahill on fiddle, Nicola Joyce (The Whileaways, The Half Room) on vocals, Maria Ryan(Stung) on strings and Matthew Berrill on clarinets and saxaphones. The album is engineered and co-produced by Eamon Brady and Liam Caffrey.
